Open iTunes; click Edit at the top of the screen; and select Preferences. A little pop-up screen will appear. Click the Advanced tab. Check the box next to Copy Files to iTunes Media folder ...
This will make it so that iTunes puts a copy of the song in your iTunes folder, instead of just locating the song on your C: drive.
