How do I back up my itunes library?

I want to back up my itunes library in case my pc breaks down and I will end up losing all of my imported songs. The library is too big to back up to a disc. Can it be done in sections onto more than one disc? If so how? And what is the easiest solution?How do I back up my itunes library?
The library structure can be backed up by going to File --%26gt; Export Library. The actual music you will have to backup on CD's or DVD's. I have 15+ gigabytes of music stored on my computer that I back up on an old iPod.How do I back up my itunes library?
