What requirements are there to become Librarian at the Library of Congress

It's something I'm vaguely interested in. How to become a Librarian at the Library of Congress? Do you need special connections, education? Is there a sight that has the information I want that any of you could recommend?What requirements are there to become Librarian at the Library of Congress

Qualifications include



Applicants must have had progressively responsible experience and training sufficient in scope and quality to furnish them with an acceptable level of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision.



Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.



Ability to plan and carry out library programs.**



Knowledge of integrated library systems, library applications, and other information technologies. **



Knowledge of the principles, concepts, and techniques of library science.



Ability to provide consultation or liaison duties. **



Ability to provide training.
