How old do you have to be to work in a Library?

I'm curious as to how old you have to be to work in a Library in Brooklyn, New York? I just turned thirteen yesterday, September 14th. I'm very responsible and intelligent. (Last year I got a 96 grade point average and I've been on top honors since 1st grade.) I'm a very fast typer, a good people person, and I use proper grammar in typing and in speaking. How old do you have to be to work in a Library?
To be able to work in a library? As in for pay? Still a bit young for that. Usually general ages run from 16+ depending on the library.

You'll be able to volunteer, though, but I don't think that's what you're looking for. Also, I don't think GPA is necessary for working in a library :P but being a nice people person certainly would help.

Speaking of birthdays, happy belated birthday...
well to get paid in my local library (i live in maryland but i am 12)

you have to be 16 or 18 and older but you can become a volonteer there from when you are 13.

you should go to the library and ask the information people (if you have any) or any other owrker there

Our library accepts teen volunteers beginning at 13. You will probably shelve books, straighten books, cut out materials for storytime programs, etc. Due to privacy laws volunteers don't generally check books in or out.
wow at 13 your job is to stay in school. and im pretty sure you have to be 16-18. Your a kid live your life until you have to get a job.How old do you have to be to work in a Library?
