How do you move the songs in your itunes library onto your ipod?

Im excited, i just got a new ipod nano for christmas. :) But im confused on how to get all of the songs i've downloaded and that are now im my music library onto my ipod.. do i have to sync the ipod all over again?How do you move the songs in your itunes library onto your ipod?
WIth iTunes open, connect the iPod to your computer via the USB cable that you should have received with it. The iPod should begin to sync automatically. If it does not, go to File | Sync iPod to sync.How do you move the songs in your itunes library onto your ipod?
Get the wire that goes from your computer to your ipod and put it in both. It should sync immediently.
