no, not with that phone, i have one. it blocks it.
you need to chop up the mp3 file into a smaller file to use as a ringtone. you can upload the file into your favorite 30 second or whatever length you want if you go to a site called ventones . from there, youll wanna wait for them to text it to your phone and then "set as ringtone" when you get it.

That's because majority of mobile phones nowadays are capable to set one of your music files as a ringtone.
