It's always been my dream to have a two floor library with custom built-in shelves, one or more spiral staircases, a balcony, and other features that make it feel truly classic. I like lots of nooks and niches for chairs, reading areas, computers, and other media. Basically, I'd like two design a home where one wing would be a two floor library. Try a local Architect. You will need one in the end to get a building permit anyway.
